Description

10” Diameter 12-Volt Composite Enclosed Chute Style Trotline Winder designed for the recreational crabber. This winder is built to help you bring home more crabs at the end of the day and can easily pay for itself by allowing you to pull in your trotline quickly and relocate as many times as needed until you find the perfect crabbing spot. Instead of keeping your line out in a bad area because you don’t want to pull the line by hand again, this chute-style winder allows you to reset fast and keep moving. It is the best option for pulling in clam bags, as the enclosed chute guides the line smoothly and helps keep bait feeding clean, while still working great with chicken necks or tied-direct bait setups. When the day is over, you won’t dread pulling your line because retrieval only takes a few minutes, getting you back to the dock faster. The composite winder is designed for use with 1/4” three-strand rope or #8 solid braid, with or without snoods or bait bags, retrieves over 300 feet per minute, features a fully enclosed design with mud flap, splash guard, sides, and lid to help keep debris out of your boat, weighs only 28 pounds, and is suitable for kayaks, jon boats, pontoons, and most recreational crabbing boats — making it one of the best-performing winders available for its price.

Port / Starboard Orientation

Port and starboard refer to the direction the line discharges, not the mounting location. When facing the front of the boat, a port-side winder discharges to the right and a starboard-side winder discharges to the left. Depending on your setup, you may choose either orientation regardless of which side of the boat it is mounted on. If you’re unsure which option is best for your boat, please contact us before ordering and we’ll be happy to help you choose the correct setup.
